Home Rules and Assumptions
• Zack is built as a standard vampire player character.
• The setting is vanilla Santa María, in US Florida State’s east coast, present time.
• I alternate the Action Roll and the optional Moves as mood and situation demand.
• I use oracles more often than not, but I will jump at good ideas without doubt.
• Every now and then I repost Zack’s current stats (Harm, etc) to inform the reader.
• I write on the present tense, third person, with a rather quick narrative style.
• I avoid out-of-character writing as much as I can outside of rolls.
• I intend for Zack to reasonably survive and thrive, but I obey fiction and rolls.
• I avoid gore and sexual RP, and I curse sparingly if it makes sense.
• Zack is imperfect and his opinions and actions do not reflect my values.
• I aim for each post to contain 500-1000 words.
• This is a pet passion project and I don’t have money to spare, so I use AI for character art. Sorry.
Truths
• Santa María developed somewhere between the 16th and the 19th century.
• It is widely accepted that vampirism is an eternal enigma.
• Religious symbols are dangerous in the hands of actually faithful people.
• Depending on their progenitor, each vampire belongs to one of five different lineages.
• Secret organizations know vampires exist, and hunters are a threat.
• Vampires have their own network, the umbernet.
• Plenty of vampires don’t agree totally with the queen, and sometimes they form groups.
• Vampires who know blood sorcery rituals are rare, but often powerful and wise.
• The Epitaph Order is a large and influential religious organization.
• Vampires rarely break the three moral laws buried within their nature.
• They live in packs within the city and call themselves lycanthropes.
• Elegies are sealed by a bloody handshake.
• There are a few occultists in Santa Maria.

Assets
Gunslinger
When take a moment to aim before shooting, choose your approach and add +1.
• Trust your instincts: Roll +intellect, and take +2 focus on a strong hit.
• Line up your shot: Roll +dexterity, and take +1 focus on a hit.
◦ Once per fight, you may take extra shots and suffer -2 focus (decide before rolling). When you do, re-roll any dice. On a hit, inflict +2 harm and take +1 focus.
◦ When you intimidate or persuade someone while armed, add +1 and take +1 focus on a hit.
Home invader
When you break into a protected area or hack a secure system, add +1 and take +1 focus on a hit. On a strong hit with a match, access is easier than expected; take another +1 focus.
◦ When hunting or feeding inside the place you are invading, reroll any dice.
◦ When you search a secure area after any kind of useful information with observation, you may re-roll any dice.
Sixth Sense
You can sense the intentions of people around you. When you are next to other individuals, you can awaken your powers to ask two of the following questions to the oracle. Then, add +1 and take +1 focus the next move related to the answer.
• Who's the weakest person in here?
• Who's most likely to harm me?
• Who's most likely to give me what I want?
◦ You can read people’s thoughts and memories. Once per night, you may psychically inspect the mind of someone next to you as if it were a book.
◦ When you hold an object in your hands, you are able to pick up psychic impressions from it and learn who held it last and when it was last held.
